RISE is always excited to find business leaders who are interested in engaging in school-business partnerships. Partnership programs can encompass a wide variety of activities. Partnership activities will always improve the education experience. They may involve either the Provision or business, staff or student development, learner work experiences, presentations to young people to share a knowledge and skills base, curriculum development, policy development, instructional development guidance, mentoring and tutoring.
RISE wants all partnerships to be mutually supportive, RISE will always commit to specific goals and activities intended to benefit students and offer a stronger presence in the community. Community members and parents should play a role in the developmental process, as the entire community will ultimately benefit from a successful partnership. Recognising that schools are typically a focal point of every community, community leaders will be encouraged to be engaged and supportive. By focusing decisions about partnership activities at the local level, we can ensure the maximum involvement and success.

Please contact hello@risespace.ukGaining experience working in a variety of school settings can help you decide if teaching is right for you and demonstrate that you have the commitment and skills to be successful. It may not be a mandatory requirement but by gaining some school experience, you will develop a valuable insight into teaching. Having this experience will strengthen your CV, any applications you make and also help to prepare you better for interview. This can be undertaken within RISE 16-25 SEND provision or our holiday club.

RISE try to invite visiting speakers from across the country, from a wide array of backgrounds and career paths to speak about their specialist topics of interest to our young people. Some of this expertise is specific to certain programs, but others are open to everyone. We discuss important issues such as climate change, health, social responsibility, specific careers and vocational pathways.
Guest speakers have become an important part of the educational experience for students. They expose students to real-world life experiences from the position of someone who has been there. Students get to see the insight and perspective of the guest speaker’s particular field.RISE also ask Visitors to host workshops and conferences, inviting an assortment of people and groups who have become successful in their fields or who have achieved something inspirational to teach workshops where possible. These opportunities are invaluable for the young people and can spark interest, curiosity, passion and excitement for them, open new worlds of possibility.
Apprentices are aged 16 or over and combine working with studying to gain skills and knowledge in a specific job. RISE are excited to be able to offer apprenticeships in ‘Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools.' Such an apprenticeship can prepare for roles such as Classroom Assistant, Learning Support Assistant & Teaching Assistant. Applicants for this role will require 2 qualifications equivalent to GCSEs at grades 9-4 The course will typically be for a 12-month period with a day release training experience. Apprentices will
